Happy 4th of July everyone! I hope you did that extra bit of exercise this week to prepare yourself for the BBQ this weekend. Here is some advice that I learned from many family occasions, when you are at a BBQ try to fill your place like this: 1/2 veggies, 1/4 protein, 1/4 samples of whatever. That way you are getting all the nutrients you need first, then move on to the other yummy yet calorie-rich stuff. And try to chew some gum, so that you don't snack on everything in front of you. It's kinda gross to have potato chips in your gum...think about it. If you are cooking, same thing...chew some gum.
